Today we went out and took a packed lunch with us and we wrapped it in our homemade beeswax wraps!
We wrapped mini pizzas and cucumber in them. We had one wrap each filled with mini pizzas and we used it as a plate as well.
We put all the food rubbish on one beeswax wrap so we could fold it up and take it home to put it in our compost.
When we had finished we folded them up nice and small so they were easy to carry.
When we got home we washed them in lukewarm, soapy water so we can use them again next time!
Beeswax wraps are good for the planet because you can reuse them over and over again and they stop you having to use plastic which is bad because it’s not biodegradable.
